Principal Registrar Kate McDonald graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Western Australia in 1995. She was admitted to practice in December 1996 and commenced practice at the then Crown Solicitor’s Office.
She worked as a Senior Assistant State Counsel at the State Solicitor’s Office representing the State in federal and state jurisdictions before commencing as an Acting Registrar in September 2018. She is an accredited mediator and commissioned as a Magistrate. She was appointed as a Registrar in May 2019 and Principal Registrar in March 2022.
On 16 May 2023, she was appointed Acting Master before resuming the role of Principal Registrar on 29 January 2024.
Registrar Danielle Davies graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts. She was admitted to practice in 1996. She has worked at a community legal centre, in private practice and in law reform.
She commenced as a Supreme Court Registrar in September 2009. She is an accredited mediator and is commissioned as a Magistrate.
On 16 May 2023, she was appointed Acting Principal Registrar until 29 January 2024.
